Research
Policy
- Due to
limited personnel and resources, research on queries is limited to the
local Parkland Area
- When
possible, we will refer you to another resource
- SELF
ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPES must be included with your query
- Research
charges are $20.00 per hour, plus costs (ie. Copying, postage as required)
- Upon
receipt of a query, a limited search will be done to determine if we can
help you
- You
will be sent an outline of the information available

This
may include information such as
§
possible obituary or other newspaper
item,
§
cemetery transcription,
§
published family history,
§
or possible family contact
Ø
You
will be provided with an estimate of the time and cost to continue the search
§
If you wish any further research, you
will be required to furnish a letter advising the amount you are prepared to
spend on the search and enclose a money order (Canadian Funds) in that amount
- Money
Orders are to be made payable to: “Dauphin Family History Group”
- Monies
received are used to improve and extend our resources so that we can
provide reliable information to family history researchers.
- All
